Breedable crops and animals, grown for what other professions make.

About Cultivation

Cultivators work with higher-level breedable crops, such as hemp and, over time, cannabis with unique strain abilities, and with breedable animals beyond chickens.

They also craft the equipment their profession needs.

This is not breeding as Second Life breedables know it. Strains and byproducts are not about bigger yields or rare drops to trade; they become ingredients for other professions, such as prescriptions and fabrics.

Getting started

Before you start

  • Be beYou level 5 to turn on any profession.
  • Be beYou level 25 to use most of its equipment. You can start your books before then.
  • Have health enabled on your account.
  • Three professions can be active at once, and a change locks for 60 days.
  • Hold off buying equipment and recipes until you reach the level that needs them.

Your first books

  1. Learning to Train, which comes with the beYou Study Hall Skill Trainer desk.
  2. At level 0: Cultivation Trainee-001A, Cultivation Trainee-001B.
  3. At level 1: Cultivation Beginner-002A, Cultivation Beginner-002B. Do not start these before level 1; its research only counts books finished at that level.
  4. After that, your books come through Education.

What a level takes

Levelling Cultivation is research: a set list of tasks for each level, done in world. Alongside them a level needs skill points and LEP, and its training books.

15 tasks, 59 things to do in all, to reach level 1.

Some of these only start counting once the task before them is finished, so work down the list in order.

Every level needs skill points, LEP (life experience points, earned over time while you wear the HUD) and that level's research. Cultivation is built on Fitness, which reaches 3,448 points by the top level.
